The IRS processes electronic filed returns in weekly cycles.  The Tax Club has a cutoff at 10:00pm each Wednesday night.  What this means is that any electronic filed tax return sent by our computers to the IRS by 10:00pm each Wednesday night will be processed by a week from that Friday.  If you request Direct Deposit of your refund, that Friday you should see your refund deposited in your checking or savings account.  If you electronically filed your return but want a refund check instead of Direct Deposit, the IRS check will be mailed that Friday.  Mailing time can take up to a week to receive it from Austin.  Note: You need to get me your tax papers no later than Sunday afternoon to get your return filed by coming Tuesday.  Updated 01/01/08.
